Role: Social Media Intern

If you’re at Uni and you’re looking for an internship which will actually level up you and your career, Filtrd are hiring a Social Media Marketing Intern who is hungry to learn.

Are you a spicy Meme Master? Do you love to write creatively? We’re all about how we can help you to level up depending on what YOU want to do, instead of the typical run-of-the-mill intern tasks (no, we’ll never ask you to fetch our coffee).

You’ll be a valuable part of our small team; being involved with client shoots, being given all the necessary tools and training and spreading your wings to find out what you are good at and what you enjoy!

Crafting EDMS, writing copy, graphic designs, getting behind the camera (or even in front of it!)… the ball is well and truly in your court and you will learn from the best of the best!

The real beauty of this internship? It’s a unique opportunity to work in-office with our team and at home also, so that you have the opportunity to build relationships and learn from our team, whilst also being able to work from home in your Oodie!

Psst... we're totally flexible, so this internship will satisfy your Uni's requirements!

If you just read the 'ideal but not required' section and thought 'Sheesh, I don't know all that".... we are here to teach you and to help! Our last intern came on over 3 years ago at the end of her Uni degree (and she's still here!), so we know that a lot of what you are taught is theoretical and you might not be in familiar territory.

We are not seeking someone who is simply after getting their Uni credits, or someone interested in staying within their comfort zone. We are a close-knit team who foster genuine relationships and we encourage one another to learn by getting in there and full sending it - so to speak.

We are looking for someone who shares our values of personal and professional growth, who is always looking to level up and who loves memes as much as we do. We love to celebrate our personal and professional achievements, to motivate one another and to always learn.

We respectfully value one another’s opinions, support one another’s side hustles and businesses, we love a good chicken and rice from ChinaTown and most of all, we encourage you to look to where you want to be in 5 years and help you to get there.

Our team days foster our relationships and we stay in touch with one another via messages, zoom calls and phone calls whilst working remotely.

FYI we’re happy for you to sit in your Oodie whilst working remotely, but you should look professional and on brand with Filtrd when required (did someone say, merch?).

DISCLAIMER: This is not just “another” social media role that you’ve seen advertised on LinkedIn.
